Hi friends! I just wanted to send an invitation out for our weekly small group sound meditations at Anarchy Yoga (Uptown). They happen every Sunday and Wednesday 1-2pm.

There are only 9 spots, and by reservation only (will link in comments) We recommend reserving your spot early. Registration closes an hour before so I know how many spaces to set. Everything you need will be provided, so all you have to do is show up in comfy clothes, and perhaps an openness to go on a loving journey inward :)

It is an honor to hold space for others, wherever they are in their journey. I pray our spaces will always feel safe and welcoming. I look forward to meeting you in sound. ✨

Elissa is a New Orleans–based luthier working in preservation, restoration, and research around instruments and traditional practices.

Her practice is dedicated to studying and preserving traditional instruments and the knowledge behind how they are built and repaired, passed down through generations of makers.

This summer, she’ll be in Crete for an artist residency, spending time with historic luthier traditions that are still practiced today, shaped by cultures across the Mediterranean and Mesopotamia.

She’s currently raising funds through a limited Lady Luthier shirt release ✨

This practice is an offering of trust. Trust in your body’s wisdom, in your own capacity to listen, and in what unfolds when you guide the way.

May you find the peace, joy, and love that is abundant within us all. And when you leave this practice, watch how that peace, love, and joy ripples out to everyone around you.
