At AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, we know that to create a healthier future for our state, we must start with the health and well-being of our children – this means caring for their physical, mental and emotional health.

Earlier this week, the AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation presented a grant to Total Community Action in support of their work with children and families in the New Orleans region. This funding will be used to train educators, parents and caregivers so that they can help vulnerable children who have experienced trauma.

For us and our partners, every child matters. We believe that every child in our community deserves an opportunity to live a happy and healthy life. ❤️🤍💙
