I have been in the mental health field since 2007 working in agencies that provided addiction services and counseling services to those with severe and persistent mental illness. In 2012, I started a private practice in order to help those who may not have been able to access services through the agencies in which I was working. I have recently moved into a location in Midcity, with the continued aim of helping people who are going through a difficult time in their life. My approach to the counseling process is one that is a safe and non-judgmental process. I strive to help each client define what their challenges are and to find safe, effective ways of moving forward with their life in a happier and healthier manner. I truly believe that significant life changes can be made through the counseling process. I also recognize that making the first step can be frightening, so I encourage you to contact me with any questions you have.
