Our Back to the Starting Line events are off to a great start! Our yoga meet with The Ohm Well set a really nice pace and had an amazing turn out! It was a lovely social distanced event that gave everyone a chance to get out of their heads and into their bodies. Thank you to Valerie for leading us and supporting our work!
We moved together and raised a total of $521 so far!!! Thank you!! We are more than halfway to our $1,000 goal to support our school teams!

Afro Beats Flow is a high energy yoga class set to Afro Caribbean beats. The class fuses dance, core strengthening and a playful yoga flow designed to light you up on and off the mat. We are excited to hold class in the newly renovated, open-air, outdoor covered facility.

After a year of limited access to our program because of COVID-19, we are excited to safely bring back school teams! Join us as we celebrate and raise support for our young runners with our Back to the Starting Line Events(swipe for details)!

Valerie started The Ohm Well in March of 2015, as a tribute to her mother. When she opened her yoga studio (which is the first in Gentilly), her goal was to change the narrative around Black Women’s health and share yoga with more people that look like her. Today, Valeria is doing just that!
