Happy Spring Get Real Tribe!
I hope you all are having a recuperative and nourishing week.
When we ask or talk about exercise it can be vast in its application.
Does solely 'walking' count? Or yoga?๐งโโ๏ธ
Does it mean you must be a gym-rat and lift heavy?๐
Does it mean we need to play active sports?โฝ
And even further and more importantly, what is the intention and purpose behind it?
In the world of health, vibrancy and chiropractic, there is a theme that is important to understand and apply to your own exercise practice based on your value set.
We have gone over in detail why exercise is important for your health, posture, mood and more - but let's get a bit more reductive for what is happening with the integrity of the tissues at bay like the fascia, muscles, and more.
You see, each movement you make, every step you take is in some regard a trauma or stressor.
Our body's innate ability to adapt, heal, and remodel this tissue is where it can become advantageous.
For example, there are people who tear a muscle for lifting incorrectly or too heavy, but a different person accomplishes the same weight with demostrative results... but why?
The truth is that in both cases there are tears, but the resiliancy of each being is different.
From those tears there is an inflammatory process that ends in fibrosis - or basically it just heals.
So when we exercise intentionally, for function, or form, or posture, or stability, then we are remodeling the body to a better state.
Without this input, the tissue will degrade into a worser state - it must be used!
Exercise is a controlled form of trauma intended to adapt into a better state of being.
This is why after we set the template and foundation of a clear nervous system with real chiropractic we talk about what it takes to nourish the system.
It takes discipline, accountability, and dedication to make these positive steps toward growth and illumination - but you can do it.
Because when remodel our rituals to serve our vessels, life is experienced at the highest expression of enrichment.
And you deserve it!

Meditation
I once heard someone describe meditation like brushing your teeth. The urgency to have to do it before leaving your house is just as essential.
Set a five minute timer and simply sit with your eyes closed, breathing slowly in and out from your nose. Try this each morning for one week and let me know how it goes!
