Villagers were treated to a spectacular performance of "A Christmas Carol" by Servant Stage's touring troupe! This talented group of performers has become a favorite for our residents, and we are always excited when we can bring them back! Thank you for starting our holiday off right!

November is National Caregiver Month - a time to recognize and honor family caregivers who provide care for loved ones. To celebrate these everyday heroes, our Memory Support Director, Erin, and Memory Support Education Coordinator, Leanne, had the privilege of hosting a special outing to Shady Maple Smorgasbord. It was a wonderful opportunity to share gratitude, connect with others, and remind caregivers how valued and appreciated they truly are.

Villagers entered the theater world for "Theater 101: Staging a Production", a beginner-friendly introduction to staging a play. From understanding stage directions and blocking to organizing rehearsals and coordinating set, costume, and lighting elements, they explored how directors and teams shape a live performance. Unique activities like this sets Cross Keys Village apart from your typical community!

Ongoing learning and skill development are essential in any workplace, especially in healthcare. Team Members in our Healthcare Center recently took part in the Annual Skills Fair, an exciting day of hands-on learning and collaboration! From mastering Hoyer lift safety and perfecting hand hygiene to ensuring a proper N95 mask fit, our team refreshed essential skills to keep care top-notch. To top it all off, they tackled the first-ever CKV Escape Room proving that learning can be both challenging and a whole lot of fun!

The Village Expo was the perfect way for Villagers to see and learn about the many groups on campus, along with CKV departments! Nearly 40 booths were spread across Harmony Ridge Community Center with everything from line dancing to model trains, or Village Council to CKV Personal Care! There is definitely something for everyone at Cross Keys Village!
