Hello Fisher Peds Families! I just wanted to give a shout out to Caitlynn, Amber, Kayleigh and Kim for doing a great job while Jen and I were gone on a short vacation. Monday was one of the busiest days since we opened, and they did fantastic. I read all of the notes (I always do) and am very impressed with the care Caitlynn provided for our families. I hope everyone had a good experience, and as always, if there are ways we can get better, please don't hesitate to reach out to me and Jen.

Also, I want to shout out Hancock ER. We initially went to a local ER that was too full seeing non-emergency cases to take care of us (everyone is fine), so we decided to drive to Hancock. Their staff did a great job and the experience was a good one; I am glad we chose to go.

The experience reminded me of why it is very important to make sure you avoid using the ER for non-emergency situations. The ER's need the capacity to take care of very ill people quickly. If you have a mild to moderate illness, it is much better to see your primary care doctor if possible (and if we are open it should always be possible), or if that fails, an urgent care.

Have a great rest of your winter, we only have a month left!! My goal is to get a blog up within the next few days, so watch for that :)

Happy Monday! We jumped on the bandwagon!
Dr. Fisher and Caitlynn, our pediatric nurse practitioner are accepting new patients. Come see the Fisher Pediatrics difference. There are no phone trees. A friendly staff member will answer the phone and help you immediately. We offer same day appointments. Medication refills are done same day, not 48 hours later like most offices these days. We are open Saturdays and most holidays. On the fence, we offer free meet and greets. Give us a call to get one scheduled and see the difference for yourself.
