A Monarch Moment at Woodland Terrace

Today our Summit Room turned into a little wonderland as monarch butterflies fluttered around on their journey! Residents gathered around to watch wings of orange and black dance in the air—pure delight, shared smiles, and lots of “oohs” and “aahs.”

Moments like these remind us why life at Woodland Terrace is so special: nature, neighbors, and a community that slows down to enjoy simple beauty together.

🍫✨ Sweet adventures for our Woodland Terrace seniors! Today, we took a delightful trip to Abbott’s Candies in Hagerstown, IN, where the smell of fresh-made chocolates and caramels filled the air. Residents enjoyed learning about the candy-making process, watching the skilled candy makers at work, and, of course, sampling some delicious treats. 🥰

It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and a few chocolate-covered fingers — the sweetest kind of memories! ❤️

Lunch Bunch Adventures!

Our Woodland Terrace Memory Care "Lunch Bunch" enjoyed a heartwarming outing to Grandma’s Pancake House in Shelbyville!

Laughter, good conversation, and delicious comfort food were all on the menu as our residents shared stories and smiles over stacks of pancakes and homestyle favorites. Outings like these fill our hearts (and bellies!) and create beautiful moments of connection.

Buzzing with Excitement at Woodland Terrace!

Today, our residents enjoyed a sweet and educational visit from our local garden club, who stopped by to share their knowledge about bees and beekeeping! From learning about the important role bees play in pollination to seeing real beekeeping equipment up close, our community was abuzz with curiosity and joy.

The presentation sparked great conversations and brought back fond memories of gardening and time spent outdoors.
