At Woodland Terrace, we believe life should be filled with meaningful connections, laughter, and a touch of elegance. Each month, our ladies gather for a special tea time—complete with warm conversation, beautiful china, and of course, delicious treats.
It’s more than just tea; it’s about friendship, encouragement, and creating joyful moments together.

For many of our residents, this monthly tradition is a highlight—a time to slow down, celebrate one another, and share stories that inspire.

🍫✨ Sweet adventures for our Woodland Terrace seniors! Today, we took a delightful trip to Abbott’s Candies in Hagerstown, IN, where the smell of fresh-made chocolates and caramels filled the air. Residents enjoyed learning about the candy-making process, watching the skilled candy makers at work, and, of course, sampling some delicious treats. 🥰

It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and a few chocolate-covered fingers — the sweetest kind of memories! ❤️

Lunch Bunch Adventures!

Our Woodland Terrace Memory Care "Lunch Bunch" enjoyed a heartwarming outing to Grandma’s Pancake House in Shelbyville!

Laughter, good conversation, and delicious comfort food were all on the menu as our residents shared stories and smiles over stacks of pancakes and homestyle favorites. Outings like these fill our hearts (and bellies!) and create beautiful moments of connection.

Thank you to Grandma’s for the warm hospitality—and to our amazing team for making it all possible!

Buzzing with Excitement at Woodland Terrace!

Today, our residents enjoyed a sweet and educational visit from our local garden club, who stopped by to share their knowledge about bees and beekeeping! From learning about the important role bees play in pollination to seeing real beekeeping equipment up close, our community was abuzz with curiosity and joy.

The presentation sparked great conversations and brought back fond memories of gardening and time spent outdoors.

A big thank-you to our garden club friends for bringing such a delightful and informative experience to Woodland Terrace!

🎨👕 Colorful Creations at Woodland Terrace! 👵👴
Our residents rolled up their sleeves and let their creativity shine during our tie-dye shirt-making activity! From bold swirls to bright splashes of color, each shirt was a one-of-a-kind masterpiece — just like the wonderful people who made them.
It was a day filled with laughter, memories, and a whole lot of dye! 💜💛💚 We love seeing our community express themselves and have fun in the process.

We had an absolutely delightful day at Woodland Terrace as Skeeter the Clown paid us a special visit! With her colorful antics, silly jokes, and heartwarming charm, Skeeter brought laughter and joy to residents and staff alike. From balloon animals to playful magic tricks, the room was filled with giggles, applause, and pure happiness. Thank you, Skeeter, for reminding us that you're never too old to enjoy a little clowning around!

Another “New Pal 500” in the books! Thanks to our special announcers and local radio legends, Jake Query and Mark Jaynes. And, CONGRATULATIONS to our first back-to-back Champion, Joyce M! And to all of our Memory Care residents who participated as well. We are truly a community within a community within a community! We so appreciate the support of the town of New Palestine and our Woodland Terrace staff to make this a very special event.

Celebrating the Wonderful Women of Woodland Terrace
This Sunday, we celebrated Mother’s Day in the most heartfelt way at Woodland Terrace Senior Living!
Residents, families, and staff came together for a beautiful afternoon filled with love, laughter, and memories. From delicious treats and live music to handmade crafts and heartfelt toasts, it was a day to honor the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who make our community so special.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day unforgettable — and to the amazing women of Woodland Terrace, thank you for your wisdom, grace, and the love you share every day.
