Preparing Rose Water at Home: A Simple Process 🌸

Rose water is a simple, natural ingredient that can be easily prepared at home. It is gentle, fragrant, and suitable for skincare, hair care, or refreshing uses. This method requires minimal ingredients and preserves the delicate essence of roses.

1. Gather Fresh Rose Petals
Begin with fresh, clean roses. Gently remove the petals from 2–3 roses. Ensure they are free from pesticides and dirt for optimal quality results.

2. Simmer the Petals
Place the rose petals in a pot and add about 2 cups of distilled water. Simmer on low heat until the petals lose their color and the water becomes lightly tinted and fragrant. Avoid boiling to preserve the natural aroma.

3. Cool and Strain the Mixture
After 20–30 minutes, remove the pot from heat and allow it to cool. Strain out the petals using a fine strainer, leaving only the rose-infused water.

4. Store the Rose Water Properly
Transfer the rose water into a clean glass bottle or spray bottle. Store it in the refrigerator to maintain freshness for extended use.

Happy New day of a new year. Time for a fresh beginning, start new things new connections new energy, clean away the past to make way for your present. Health and healing is my wish for you. Last night i attended a gathering as i have the past three years. I attend alot of events with the same community and its always comforting. we enjoyed a cacoa meditation focusing on opening the heart, sacred chanting kirtan dancing and sound bath. It was a loving way to gently let the year end and begin fresh. all while the snow was falling so magically outside. Love 🌸and light 💗✨

To celebrate the winter solstice, went on a beautiful cold walk to find a yule log. it’s so adorable and perfect. These icicles were as tall as me!!
