Established Optometry practice in New Paltz, looking for a full-time front desk person. We are seeking an individual who is experienced working in a medical practice, very personable and fast learner.

Job Type: 5 days per week.

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday
9:00AM - 12:00PM
Closed for lunch 12:00 – 1:00
1:00PM– 5:00PM.
Friday 9:00AM – 4:00PM
Pay:

$14.50 - $16.50 Negotiable based on work experience

Responsibilities

Schedule patient visits.
Answer phones.
Incoming and outgoing calls.
Verify insurance eligibility.
Greet patients, check-in, and process paperwork.
Scan paperwork.
Answer patient questions.
Insurance verification.
Handle patient fees, including answering billing questions.
Facilitate patient flow in the office.
Manage ordering of contact lenses for patients trialing and purchasing weekly, monthly, and yearly supplies.
Perform optometric vision tests: Optos, OCT and Visual field.
Training provided.
Patient contact lens insertion and removal
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
