Honored to celebrate our resident and veteran, Tom Gilder, who took part in the Hudson Valley Honor Flight on October 18th, alongside his grandson. 🇺🇸✈️

It was an amazing experience for Tom to attend and be recognized alongside so many fellow heroes. We’re so proud of him—and extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Woodland Pond Resident and Staff Veterans for their service and sacrifice. Thank you all for your courage and dedication! ❤️🤍💙

We’re thrilled to welcome Ms. Claire’s Music Cupboard to our community for an Intergenerational Kindermusik Class—right here at Woodland Pond! 💕

Starting Tuesday, October 28th at 10AM, families can join in the joy of music, movement, and connection with our residents—our beloved Grand Friends!

Classes are just $45/month ($40 for siblings). Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to make memories through music! 🎵✨

🌈✨ Community, Connection & Celebration ✨🌈

The October 8th LGBTQIA+ & Allies Intergenerational Community Dinner and Discussion was a huge success — with nearly 40 attendees, including members of our resident interest group, representatives from local LGBTQIA+ organizations and open and affirming churches, the president of SUNY New Paltz and his husband, and staff and students from the SUNY New Paltz Rivera House.

It was a truly uplifting evening of sharing, discussion, and building bridges across generations and communities.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible — and for continuing to make Woodland Pond a place where LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies feel welcome, supported, and celebrated. 🏳️‍🌈💙

From classic 1950s flair and poodle skirts to lively dancing, retro decor, and plenty of laughter, our Residents and Staff celebrated this milestone in true throwback style. The energy, the smiles and the sense of community made our "Sweet 16" unforgettable. 💙✨
