The purpose of the IX International Congress on Migration and Mental Health, sponsored by the Athena Network, is to share knowledge and experiences in the management and support of the mental health of the migrants living in an extreme situation. This year’s theme, “Building resilient communities under COVID-19”, will provide a focus on how the pandemic has added another layer to the stressors that migrants experience, and the way that professionals and community organizations have adapted to better serve this vulnerable population. The Congress will be through the ZOOM platform, three-hour sessions each day, with presentations from members of the Athena Network in eight different countries. TIMETABLE:

El tema de este año, "Construir comunidades resilientes bajo COVID-19", brindará un enfoque sobre cómo la pandemia ha agregado otra capa a los factores estresantes que experimentan los migrantes, y la forma en que los profesionales y las organizaciones comunitarias se han adaptado para servir mejor a esta población vulnerable.
