HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 104 expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Heat-related impacts are likely in some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

Recommended actions
Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. This is especially true during hot weather when car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
