Our longtime and cherished staff associate, George Kail, a U.S. Air Force veteran, served as the guest speaker for this special occasion.

This weekend, I had the opportunity to pause alongside the Goodie family to honor their wife, mother, and grandma, Susan Goodie, at the dedication of the Tuscarawas County Inclusive Playground at Tuscora Park. Preston had a dream of creating a beautiful, inclusive playground in memory of her mom. The park holds treasured family memories for Preston, and through this project, she is keeping her mom’s memory alive and well. If you don’t know Preston, she truly exemplifies the good in this world.

As Preston shared: “This playground was developed out of love for my mom, Susan Goodie, who loved Tuscora Park. We have some of the best, and hardest, memories here with her. We hope this playground allows every single child and family member to be together in the same space making special memories at the gem that is Tuscora Park.”

We were truly honored to share in this special celebration and support Preston’s vision.
