Thank you New Philadelphia Rotary Club for having us and for your continued support of our mission!

New Phila Rotarians this week were updated by staff of Ohio's Hospice. Mona Sayre, Elisa Stoyle and Emily Duggan came to talk specifically about the recent Bereavement Camp. This three day camp is for children ages 7 to 17 who've recently lost a loved one. Helping the kids learn to deal with grief, anger, and loneliness are some of the goals of the camp. Children attend camp at no cost to them thanks to generous sponsor support. The Rotary Club of New Philadelphia has been a long-time supporter of Hospice, not only in sponsoring the annual Bereavement Camp, but in helping to build the Truman House Inpatient Hospice facility on Commercial Ave. SW.

About Community Hospice

Community Hospice is a community based, non-profit organization that has provided end-of-life care and support for patients and their families in their time of need for over 30 years. Since opening our doors in 1986, Community Hospice staff and dedicated volunteers strive to fulfill the hospice mission on a daily basis by assisting with direct and indirect patient and family care. Our service area includes Tuscarawas, Stark, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton and surrounding counties. To date, we have had the privilege of serving over 14,500 patients and families in our local hospice, palliative and bereavement care programs.
