Excel Medical Imaging is a full-service radiology practice serving patients in New Port Richey, Florida, and the surrounding area. Our staff of skilled radiologists all specialize in diagnostic radiology and in addition, Dr. Das, and Dr. Patel further specialize in interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and neuroradiology respectively. Dr. Mehta and his partner, fellow radiologist Dr. Aruna M

edara, founded Excel Medical Imaging in 2001 with the intent of creating an independent freestanding radiology imaging center devoid of corporate influence, non-medical investors, and unnecessary hospital surcharges and red tape. Since then, Excel Medical Imaging has remained independent of any hospital, insurance plan, or large corporate influence. Physician (and family) owned and operated to this day, Excel Medical Imaging provides a wide range of services, including MRIs, CTs, PET/CTs, ultrasounds, mammograms, and more. Patients can be assured of expert care because board-certified radiologists remain on-site for supervision during procedures and contrast injections. The staff at Excel Medical Imaging is committed to providing all patients with quality care that combines medical knowledge with advanced technology. All members of the dedicated staff have been trained to make sure that each patient receives the highest level of care and comfort, abiding by the motto: "We build our image ... one patient at a time." Excel Medical Imaging accepts all insurance plans and remains committed to improving and expanding its services. These currently include advanced diagnostics, interventional oncology, and interventional radiology. Our future service offerings will also include versatile and minimally invasive stem cell and regenerative therapies.
