This private and secure neighborhood provides all the Grand Villa of New Port Richey services and amenities with upgrades and special features that meet the individual needs of residents with memory challenges, including Alzheimer's or dementia. This comfortable home-like environment allows freedom of movement in an exit controlled setting. Our Memory Support program blends activities specifically designed for residents with memory challenges like Alzheimer's, with newest technology. Our residents are involved daily therapeutic and recreational activities that encourage continued independence while preserving dignity. For dementia care in New Port Richey, we focus on activities to enhance general health, personal relationships, and communication skills. We concentrate on familiar abilities to avoid frustration at not being able to accomplish an activity. We laugh, smile and make eye contact. We give lots of positive encouragement. Gentle exercise and a schedule of social and recreational activities are provided to entertain and occupy attendees. Delicious and nutritious snacks are offered. We provide assistance with personal hygiene and medications, if necessary.
