This year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” was all about celebrating the joy, compassion, laughter, and meaningful memories shared every day with our residents and staff. 💐 We were so excited to show off our brand new staff shirts as we celebrated a week full of love, appreciation, and special moments together. 💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.

We are proud of Bonnie for the progress she has made through rehabilitation! 🙌

When Bonnie started therapy, she was unable to walk, get in and out of bed, feed herself, or swallow. Through working with our therapists, she is now swallowing safely and feeding herself, as well as walking and transferring from one surface to another with moderate assistance. 🎉

Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.
