Today is not simply a long weekend.
It is a remembrance… to honor the men and women who gave their tomorrows so others could have today.

Many never had the chance to grow old…
to hold grandchildren…
to sit peacefully on a porch…
to heal from the battles they carried inside.

Some died on foreign soil.
Others carried the war home within them.

And yet, through their sacrifice, generations were given opportunity, safety, and freedom.

Life is fragile.
Time is precious.
Love your people while they are here.

Today, may we slow down enough to remember.

May we place our hands on our hearts and honor those who never made it home.

May we support the families who still carry their memory every single day.

And may we choose to live more consciously, compassionately, and courageously because of their sacrifice.

To all fallen heroes…
we remember you.
To all Gold Star families…
we honor you.
And to all veterans carrying invisible wounds…
you are not alone.
