Pasco Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Farm Share, Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee, the Gentlemen’s Course and the Pasco County NAACP for a free community food distribution! The next food distribution event will be at Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee on Thursday, Mar. 5 and will begin at 9 a.m. It’s first come first served, so come out early!

Say hi to Kingston, age 5. We met him and his friends at Forest Hills Presbyterian Learning Center in Hillsborough County when we went to screen all the children. We had a great time and the kids were so good. Thanks for having us.

Thank you to Suncoast Credit Union Foundation for their charitable gift of $15,000 to be used for Children’s Hearing Health, speech, and literacy in Suncoast’s service area. Specifically, Sertoma will provide access to hearing screenings, literacy, and speech services to children in need over the course of the next year.

We are truly appreciative of this generous gift and the difference it will make in so many lives.

In our community, families stick together and help each other, but hearing help can be expensive. Sertoma and the Florida Department of Health are making hearing health possible by providing eligible children with free hearing aids and covered services. If you know a child who needs support, tell their family about the Children’s Hearing Aid Program.

Each child will receive a free copy of "I Love You Because You're You!" This will include activity worksheets, arts and craft ideas, plus access to the read along video.
