Another Pinnacle and Hygiene Study Club season has come to a close. It was a fantastic year of meeting with colleagues and friends, and throughout the season we had the privilege of learning about the latest innovations, techniques, and research within the dental community. The educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and thought-provoking discussions provided valuable insights that we can implement to better serve our patients. The collaborative spirit of Pinnacle continues to inspire excellence in our field!

Special thanks to all our members, presenters, and of course, to Dr. Michael A. Pikos for 35 remarkable years of outstanding continuing education opportunities for everyone in attendance.

Next year's curriculum is being finalized and will be distributed soon. Until then, have a wonderful summer!

The Pinnacle Study Club of Tampa Bay had an amazing time at Digital Dental Night 2.0 last week!

Our members got hands-on with the latest dental technology, experiencing cutting-edge advancements in dental scanning and 3D printing. It was a fantastic night of learning, networking, and looking ahead at what’s next in digital dentistry.

It was wonderful seeing everyone at the combined Pinnacle and Hygiene Study Club meeting on Tuesday. It was a great turnout and a fantastic night!

We have many people to thank for our successful event. Our incredible speaker, Neely Zollman, delivered an excellent presentation on "Implant Complications, Maintenance Protocols and Products in 2025" that received rave reviews from the audience. We're also grateful to our sponsor, Hilary Tolisano from Crest + Oral B, who generously provided samples and an electric toothbrush for our raffle. And a special thank you to Dr. Tony Pikos for moderating the evening and keeping things running smoothly.

We had a great turnout at Tuesday night's Pinnacle Study Club meeting and it was wonderful to see both members and guests in attendance!

Dr. Nicole Hernandez's insightful presentation on "Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: An Oral Surgeon's Perspective" was incredibly well received. Her expertise is always invaluable!

Sean White, CEO of Whiteboard Marketing, sponsored our meeting. His dental marketing tips are continually a highlight.

CANCELED: 10/22/24 meeting

Given the ongoing recovery efforts from Hurricane Milton, and the priority of ensuring everyone’s safety and well-being, we have decided to cancel the Pinnacle Study Club meeting scheduled for 10/22.

Our thoughts are with those affected by the storm, and we will certainly keep you posted when Digital Dental Night will be rescheduled.

The Pinnacle Study Club of Tampa Bay kicked off its 35th year last night with a fantastic turnout!

Our members gathered for a terrific session led by Sean White, CEO of Whiteboard Marketing, a marketing agency exclusively for dentists. Joining him from Whiteboard Marketing was Tracy Connors. The presentation offered valuable insights and information on the latest trends in dental marketing, as well as practical tips for members to implement in their own practices.

We'd like to give a special thank you to Dr. Michael A. Pikos for continuing to direct the Study Club and moderating the evening.

Last night was the kick-off meeting for the 2024-2025 Hygiene Study Club of Tampa Bay. It was great to see everyone - both familiar and new faces - after a summer hiatus.

Dr. Philip J. Hedger was the presenter and spoke on "Full Arch Hybrid Implant Maintenance: To Remove or Not to Remove? That is the Question!" His presentation was incredibly well received, with one hygienist saying it was "the best course she's ever attended!" Wonderful feedback for a dynamic speaker and fantastic prosthodontist! We're thrilled that all who attended were engaged and are able to benefit from this lecture.
