ABQAURP Diplomates and Members are dedicated to improving the overall quality of health care. Diplomates and Members of ABQAURP are comprised of virtually every type of health care professional, encompassing not only the clinical arena but the managerial backbone as well. Diplomates who have voluntarily achieved certification in Health Care Quality and Management demonstrate a deep commitment to patient safety, health care quality and effective care. Providers certified in HCQM exude superior ability to critically evaluate the literature, identify evidence-based best practices, and make reccomendations that balance appropriateness of services with cost and quality. HCQM Board Certification addresses effectiveness, efficiency, equity, safety, and timeliness in today's health care environment.

New Course Release! Partnering for Success is an 8-hour online video course that was recorded live at ABQAURP’s 48th Annual Conference. The course explores today's complex health care delivery as it continues to evolve into a high-quality, value-based care system; improving patient outcomes, reducing costs, and increasing value for all stakeholders. As regulatory changes unfold, the interprofessional health care team continues to seek strategies to coordinate patient needs, reduce burdens on providers, and ensure reimbursement is maximized without fear of penalty. This prestigious honor recognizes her 45 years of leadership and dedication to the nursing profession.
