Logan Sampson was last seen early Sunday morning, leaving his residence on the 600 block of Bernas Lane in New Prague, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

🌟 September is Hydrocephalus Awareness Month 🌟

At Dragonfly Children’s Respite, we stand with children and families impacted by hydrocephalus. 💙

💧 Fast Facts about Hydrocephalus:
🔹 Affects over 1 million Americans
🔹 Can occur at any age – but most common in infants & older adults
🔹 Caused by a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the brain
🔹 Symptoms may include headaches, vision changes, balance issues, memory struggles, or developmental delays
🔹 Treatments often include shunt systems or endoscopic procedures – but there is no cure yet
🔹 Support & advocacy organizations are working hard to improve treatments and provide family resources

By raising awareness, we bring hope, understanding, and stronger support for those living with hydrocephalus.

The Morgan crew has outdone themselves this week, soaking up all the last minutes of summer at three different water parks, bowling, harvesting from their garden, playing yard games, and getting fresh haircuts. Today, we spent the day outfitting these kids with new school clothes and shoes, finishing off with a meal at Pizza Ranch. To say they are excited and ready for a new, successful year at school is an understatement!

At Dragonfly Children’s Respite, we stand in solidarity with the families, students, teachers, and entire Annunciation community. We mourn the lives lost and the trauma inflicted on the innocent, and we share in this collective grief. In this time of deep sorrow, we want to affirm:
• Our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the children taken and those injured.
• Our unwavering support for the survivors, educators, first responders, and medical professionals who stepped in to help.
• Our commitment to holding the light of compassion, care, and safety for children everywhere.

In the spirit of healing and resilience, Dragonfly stands ready to offer supports, and compassionate outreach to any child or family in need during this unimaginable time.

May compassion prevail over despair. May community hold us when we cannot hold ourselves. And may the light shine anew, even in the darkest moments.

☀️ Tomorrow’s the Day! ☀️

Our Picnic in the Park with Adaptive Equipment is happening Sunday, August 17th at Sertoma Park from 3–5 PM and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

🍴 Food will be served at 4 PM!

We know it’s going to be a warm one, but don’t worry — we’ve got you covered:
💧 Plenty of cool drinks
🌀 Fans and cooling products
🌳 A large shaded, covered cement area to relax in

Come join us for an afternoon of food, community, and the chance to try out all kinds of adaptive outdoor equipment. It’s free, fun, and open to everyone!
