Meet the Crew!
Kylie Cress - Pivotal Health Chiropractic

Dr. Kylie grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She attended South Dakota State University where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Pre-Professionals focus in Chiropractic. And, in 2016, she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Science University (where she met her husband).

In order to tailor her care specifically to each patient, Dr. Kylie is constantly pursuing continuing education courses and certifications--especially those in the areas of Applied Kinesiology and Functional Medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Kylie can be found exploring nature with her husband, Dr. Kyle, and their Boston Terrier, Remedy, lifting weights at the gym, or snuggled up with a cup of coffee and a good book--currently anything pregnancy and birth related as the Cresses are expecting their first bundle of joy around Christmas time 👶.

🤰 28 Weeks 🤰

Dr. Kylie has officially entered into the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and is feeling great. One major contributor? Regular adjustments (1-2 per week from Dr. Cress/Daddy).

Happy First Day of my Favorite Season 🍂🍁

In the world of Chinese Medicine and Five Element Theory, Fall is the season of the Metal Element.

It is associated with the energetic organ systems of the Lung and Large Intestine. Two of the most vital organ systems for assimilation and detoxification. Inhaling and exhaling. Absorbing and excreting.

Signs and symptoms that you may be resisting the transition into Fall and your Metal element may require some extra love include: constipation, gas/bloat, congestion, cough, sore throat, grief, obsessive thoughts...

Some ways to nourish this season:
⚪ warm water/tea with ginger and lemon
⚪ white foods (onion, garlic, cauliflower, apples, turnips)
⚪ epsom salt detox baths
⚪ Yin style yoga
⚪ decluttering your home or work space
⚪ slowing down
⚪ reflecting on what you can let go
