Have you been told that you have a disc bulge, disc herniation, or “slipped disc”?

Did you know that in most cases these can be treated with conservative care and don’t require surgery.

Here at Family and Sports Chiropractic we utilize the Cox Technic to treat your disc injury.

This is a gentle, safe, non-force procedure which has been shown to (1) increase intervertebral disc height, (2) decrease pressure within the nucleus pulposus of the intervertebral disc, (3) increase the area inside the intervertebral foramen, and (4) restore motion to the vertebral joints.

We also follow what is called the “Rule of 50%” when it comes to expected outcomes. This means we expect 50% relief of pain symptoms subjectively reported (by you) and objectively (by certain tests we perform) within 30 days. If 50% is not attained, further testing (MRI) and/or referral will be considered (this may also come sooner depending on your symptom progression). At 50% relief of pain which may come in just a visit or two, your office visits will be reduced by 50%. (Ex. If your treatment plan called for you coming to the office every day, you would now be seen every other day.)

I want to take a moment to thank all of our patients at Family and Sports Chiropractic of New Roads.
