Carmen Kellerman, “Star of the Month”

“I’m so very glad we have such a nice assisted living facility here in New Roads! Being close to family, friends as well as my community is important to me. The staff at the LaCour House are helpful and caring. I can definitely say with my catering background, the kitchen staff run a wonderful kitchen with good food. Having Mass twice weekly is so nice so I am able to continue in my faith at this time in my life.”
Ms Carmen says she loves all of the activities offered to residents, “something for everyone’, she says.
Born and raised in Melville, LA, Ms Carmen says her small town reminded her of the famous Mayberry on TV. Her family has always been a big part of the New Roads community and they are continuing their legacy at the LaCour House. Ms Carmen is truly a beautiful soul who is a perfect fit in the LaCour House family.

Gourmet Iced Coffee, Lemon Tartlets, Chocolate Petit Fore’s, and Fresh Fruit adorned the creative space for the residents. Stunning jeweled bracelets of every style and color were strung meticulously with the finished product being GORGEOUS!!!! What a fun afternoon!
