Today at Lexington Place, we celebrated two timeless classics — the anniversary of the iconic Hostess Cupcake and good old Maxwell House Coffee! ☕🧁✨

Residents enjoyed sweet treats, fresh coffee, plenty of laughs, and a wonderful afternoon filled with creativity, music, poetry, and friendship thanks to the amazing members of the Creative Happiness Institute.

A huge thank you to Mary-Ann Westbrook, Marc Davidson, Tony Ehrlich, Kate Muldoon, Carl Scharwath, Elizabeth Major, Lisa Martin, Christine Beu, and our very own Janine “Neen” Kinney for sharing your talents, smiles, poetry, and songs with our community today! 🎶📖❤️

Today at Lexington Place, we took a sweet trip back in time with our old-fashioned Float Bar! 🥤🍦✨

Decorated with a shiny chrome soda-shop style setup straight out of the 1950s, residents, staff, and visitors all joined in on the fun while creating their own delicious floats.

Residents could choose from classic root beer, orange soda, cherry cola, and even a few “new school” creations! But the surprise star of the afternoon may have been the newest kid on the block… fruit punch, ginger ale, and rainbow sherbet — also known around here as “The Sherbet Show Stopper!” 🌈🍧

Between the laughter, nostalgia, fizzy drinks, overflowing scoops of ice cream, and plenty of whipped cream, today felt like stepping into an old-time soda fountain.

Safe to say… there were smiles floating around everywhere today at Lexington Place! 😄🍒

💚🌿 Green Thumb Day at Lexington Place! 🌿💚

Yesterday, our community celebrated Dress-Up Day: Green for Green Thumb Day — and our residents and staff absolutely rose to the occasion! 🍀😄

From bright green outfits to leafy accessories and festive flair, Lexington Place was looking extra lively and colorful all day long.

During Happy Hour, we shared plenty of laughs and stories while talking about gardening victories, stubborn weeds, plants that thrived… and the ones that definitely did not survive.

From tomatoes and flowers to Florida heat and mystery plants, everyone had a fun memory or gardening “oops” to share!

A wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, memories, friendship, and just a little bit of dirt under our imaginary fingernails. 🌼🌞

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for our Friendship Tea at Lexington Place! 💐☕

Thank you to our wonderful residents, guests, and dedicated healthcare professionals for taking the time to spend such a special afternoon with us. The setting was beautiful, the company was even better, and it was truly heartwarming to see so many smiles and meaningful connections being made.

A special thank you to Jimmy Soldo for setting the tone with his incredible jazz music—it made the afternoon feel extra magical. 🎶 And of course, the delicious desserts and tea were the perfect complement to an afternoon spent enjoying great conversation and friendship.

At Lexington Place, we love creating moments like these—because Sparking Joyful Moments, Where Fun Never Retires isn’t just something we say, it’s what we do every day. 💖

We had a fiesta to remember at Lexington Place today! 🎉

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, our residents enjoyed a day full of fun with festive sombreros, silly photo props, and plenty of smiles 📸😄

And of course, no celebration would be complete without margaritas at lunch and Happy Hour—cheers to good friends and great times! 🍹

From laughter to photos to raising a glass together, it was a wonderful day filled with energy, joy, and community spirit.

The Force was strong at Lexington Place today! 🌟
In celebration of May the 4th (Star Wars Day), our residents enjoyed a fun-filled Dress-Up Day along with a themed photo booth full of laughs, lightsabers, and galactic style! 🚀

From Jedi masters to a few “mysterious” characters from the dark side, everyone got into the spirit and made it a day to remember.

We had an out-of-this-world time celebrating together—because around here, the fun is always strong with us! 🌌😄

🏇🎲Lexington Derby Race Night🏇🎲

The excitement was already off to the races at Lexington Place tonight! 🏇

Before the big Kentucky Derby, we hosted our 2nd Lexington Derby, where residents rolled either a small, medium, or large die to move their horses up the furlongs! 🎲

It was anyone’s race as the dice determined the pace, leading to plenty of laughs, surprises, and a few photo-finish finishes along the way!

To celebrate, we awarded prize baskets for 1st, 2nd, 3rd… and even last place—because everyone deserves a win on Derby Day! 🎁

A fun, fast-paced way to kick off the evening—and the perfect lead-in to the main event! 🏁🐎

We’re off to the races at Lexington Place…literally! 🏇😂

To build some excitement for our upcoming Lexington Derby, I may—or may not—have taken a full-speed gallop through the Dining Room…riding an inflatable horse…all on video! 🎥

That’s right…we’re not horsing around when it comes to Derby Day fun! 😄
If this is any indication of what’s to come, you won’t want to miss the action. Get ready for a night of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of Derby spirit!
