✨Skybird Yoga Fall Immersion Retreat 9/11-9/13, 2025✨

this past weekend was pure nourishment- thanks to this beautiful, radiant group, the golden light of fall, and days immersed in practice + nature.

we moved through yoga ceremony, intention setting, daily 12-minute workouts, qigong, yoga flows, sound healing, self-care rituals, meditation, and forest bathing on the back trails 🍂🌲.

thank you to everyone for your willingness to feel authentically and go deep- your openness created the heart of this retreat. 💙

in yoga we remember that our role is not to fix or chase after the world, but to root into presence and let our inner light guide the way. like a lighthouse, steady and bright - when we care for ourselves, we naturally shine for others. ✨

He says there is no end to seeing.

He says look forward to getting old.
He says keep changing,
you just get more who you really are.
He says get stuck, accept it, repeat
yourself as long as it is interesting.

He says keep doing what you love.

He says keep praying.

He says everyone of us is a child,
everyone of us is ancient,
everyone of us has a body.
He says everyone of us is frightened.
He says everyone of us has to find
a way to live with fear.

He says everything is alive–
shells, buildings, people, fish,
mountains, trees, wood is alive.
Water is alive.

Everything has its own life.

Everything lives inside us.

He says live with the world inside you.

He says it doesn’t matter if you draw,
or write books. It doesn’t matter
if you saw wood, or catch fish.
It doesn’t matter if you sit at home
and stare at the ants on your veranda
or the shadows of the trees
and grasses in your garden.
It matters that you care.

It matters that you feel.

It matters that you notice.

It matters that life lives through you.

Contentment is life living through you.
Joy is life living through you.
Satisfaction and strength
is life living through you.

Peace is life living through you.

Two years ago today, a tiny piece of the universe landed in my arms. Byrdie was just 5 days old when brought him over to the barn. He was so tiny- we were all in shock! He looked like he’d fallen from the stars… and maybe he did.

Jason, , .realestate and I rallied to get him everything he needed, with a little help from some amazing friends. That same day, he experienced his very first sound bath (naturally).

I had no idea that cats are born blind and deaf. This little guy needed to be bottle fed every two hours 24-7 for weeks. What a crazy experience this was. Everyday I prayed that he would survive! And he did! Such a little brave heart this cat is. 💗

Since then, Byrdie’s filled my life with warmth, endless games of hide-and-seek fun, curiosity, and so much crazy kitty love.

Happy 💗 Day, Byrds. You’ll always be my little celestial being. ✨🌙🐾

a gift from the land and lineage.

i was gifted an apacheta - a sacred stone offering used in the andean tradition to honor the spirit of the earth, the mountains, and the journey of life.

each stone carries intention. prayers. release. gratitude.
a spiral of presence, built slowly with hands and reverence.

this apacheta now lives in the garden by the buddha-
an altar within an altar.
a place to ground prayers, leave burdens, or simply breathe with the earth.

in the andean cosmovision, these cairns are not just piles of rocks
they’re living portals, offerings of reciprocity to pachamama. they say: “i see you. i thank you. i remember who i am because of you.”

if you visit , feel free to place a stone.
leave a wish. or take a breath.
this space is alive and listening.

Never too late! Just a couple photos from the last Skybird YOGA 2025 retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica.

We were there the week in between the eclipses. The energy was magical X 10! What a supportive fun vibrant group. We went deep, did some incredible healing, releasing, laughing, sharing and connecting. Oh yeah and yoga, breath and sound healing too!

Had a sacred cacao ceremony with Dani - whose family has been growing cacao for 5 generations. He created such a beautiful space, shared stories and did some dancing and singing with us.

The last night after our closing circle we went as a group to see Deva Premal and Miten sing. Does it get any better than this?

Truly blessed and grateful. 🙏❤️
