Great meeting last night with the Austin County Cattlewomen's Association! Great group of folks and good discussions about cattle nutrition, mineral programs, fly control, etc. Also it was great to meet the Texas Cattlewomen's Assn president and president elect for 2026!

If you are a lady in the cattle business in Austin County, I highly recommend getting involved with this group. They are doing great things for our local beef industry!

Great meeting tonight with the Rapides Parish Cattlemens Assn. Heard from their Parish Assn Queen, front the State President on what the State Assn is doing and how it's growing. Also heard from a State Senator that covers this part of LA. I gave the program on the importance of mineral programs on cattle operation and how performance and profits are affected. Offering prayers 🙏 up for the tragedies and losses of life from the Hill Country floods. Its unimaginable what these families from all over the state and beyond, as well as the local community, are going through. . . We'll be keeping these folks in our thoughts and prayers.

So very thankful for all the responders that have rushed to the area to help any way possible. As they move through this it's up to us to be there for the people affected by this terrible event. . .

A bit chilly out this morning! Temps the next few days in Central Texas will be in the low 20' +/-.

Be sure to keep hay in front of the cows, keep water troughs open (watch for broken pipes) and if anyone is calving, check on those new babies and monitor for hypothermia. It CAN happen here!

ABC Nutrition Service also offers mineral feeders and Concrete feed troughs to our customers. The mineral feeders are almost indestructible and almost impossible to turn over. The troughs are 10' x 2' and also much more durable than the plastic/metal frame troughs.

Good morning, Facebook family - just letting the cattle producers here know a little about what we are doing and will be for the coming fall. As many of you are aware, we are in the cattle nutrition consulting (Reveille Livestock Concepts) and supplement business. We do this all over the mid- south and southeast and now are making our cattle supplements available here in Central Texas. Our company name is ABC Nutrition Service, Inc. and we are operating under this name. Currently we offer loose, free choice minerals and tub supplements and will be adding liquid feed to this lineup shortly. We also have mineral feeders and concrete troughs/bunks. Call us anytime to discuss your cattle operation and see where we might be able to help build your program!
