Why did we start this?
Born and raised in Southern Minnesota, as kids we spent our summers walking beans and chopping down h**p in the fields, if our hoes weren't sharp enough, those fibrous stalks were tough to take down! I never would have guessed that some 30 years later we would be selling products infused with extract from h**p. When my brother approached me in December of 2018 about a farm bill that was going to pass and make it legal to grow h**p, and process and sell it's oil I honestly had no idea what he was talking about. As a veteran who had served our country for most of his adult life including several deployments over seas he had found from his own experience and those of fellow vets that the CBD extract taken from h**p was helping them with a wide range of health issues and he was excited to build a business around the production, education and sale of high quality products to offer those seeking alternatives to other treatments that weren't working well or were causing other health issues.
My brother, who already ran our family farm, went to work on the growing end of it and Chris and I went to work on the education and selling end of it, opening our first store in New Ulm in March of 2019 and our second store in Marshall in November of 2019. In an industry that exploded over night and found product of all kinds being offered by all kinds of vendors; our vision has been to provide high quality product from reputable manufacturers in a setting that is comfortable for everyone to visit, staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people who care and want to help improve wellness in our communities.
We take the time to understand your needs and concerns and then direct you to the type of CBD that could be best for you. In an industry that is unregulated, hundreds of companies have popped up and many of them sell product with questionable...even dangerous ingredients, and some say they have CBD but when tested they are found to have none. Where you get your CBD does matter and our goal is to be the best place to do that.
