MY BIO SUMMARY

My spiritual path has been long, officially spanning 5 decades (unofficially, more than that), & is quite eclectic with what some may view as a hodgepodge of unrelated themes. Even as a child, raised in a very Catholic household, I was a mystic with precognitive visions who attracted the extraordinary. When I learned of an esoteric school opening its doors in the early 1970’s, I i

mmediately enrolled. The Inner Vision School of Occult & Psychic Sciences, located in Manhattan, was a wonderful place to get the basics in various divination systems & all things metaphysical. The school also answered some questions for me about my own experiences. After a few years I moved on to deepen my studies at The Occult Guild with Rev. Charles House. We were a small, private group, meeting weekly for several years at the Ansonia Hotel in NYC. House was a student of the late but renowned spiritualist medium, Clifford Bias whose church had also been in the Ansonia. Under the direction of Charles House, we explored the greater meaning of the Hermetic Arts like tarot & astrology, of practices like meditation, chant, ceremonial magick, & ritual, & the timeless truth of the Hermetic Principles. Simultaneously, I studied Ancient Esoteric Philosophy at The New School & received my astrologer certification from the H Eugene Adams School of Astrology in Forest Hills, NY. At the New School I met Jon Mundy, PhD, who introduced me to A Course in Miracles & I became a lifelong student/teacher, going on to facilitate, for several years in the 1990’s, a weekly Course based peer support group for women at the Interfaith Center in Washingtonville, NY. I was also blessed to present workshops at an ACIM annual conference in Bethel, Maine for 5 years in a row, as well as directing a choir & co-producing a Sunday morning service with some beloved brothers & sisters whom I have held in my heart ever since as my core ACIM family. In the same period, my work with chant brought me to record “Lovecalls,” a little a cappella cassette of my original work which in turn brought me an invitation to record a CD, “Lullabies of the Soul,” with a delightful group of sister-souls in Hartford CT. Improvisational heart songs & the vibration of sound has long been a part of my soul’s healing journey. When I moved to Orange County in 1979, I did readings & offered small classes in my home - through the 1980’s - in tarot, astrology, meditation, chant, ritual & sacred ceremony, among other subjects. I had learned psychic/spiritual healing methods at Inner Vision, & made much use of those skills in my travels through pediatric cancer in the same decade, but had a big issue with empathic absorption. I longed to learn Usui Reiki, intuitively sensing that it would help with the empath problem. Back in those days, however, the fees to reach Reiki Master were way out of my financial reach, but I held fast to the vision that one day I would learn. In the late 90’s, I was invited to attend meditation & ritual with a local group of women. After one of the circles, the woman who led the group reached for my hand & said, “You have strong Reiki.” I told her I had never learned. She said I was a natural healer but was having empathic absorption issues that attunement to Reiki would fix. She was so very right. She offered to instruct & attune me & in exchange I assisted her with a personal project. My career as a Reiki Practitioner was soon launched. In early 2000, I became a Reiki Master/Teacher. Reiki did indeed clear my empathic absorption & is a precious gift beyond measure. I am also a writer & poet whose work has been published in various magazines & newsletters spanning back to 1977. More recently, I became a certified aromatherapist, a doTERRA certified essential oil specialist, as well as an essential oil educator at HigherVibeHealth. I have incorporated the use of essential oils into my Reiki practice, along with my standard crystals, solfeggio frequencies & tuning forks. There is really too much life to include all of it in this blurb, but these are some of the highlights on my spiritual road to here. Many Blessings! Thérèse Marie Quinn

FULL FLOWER MOON 11 degrees 22’ SCORPIO
MAY 1, 2026 @ 1:23 PM EDT

This powerful & empowering full moon falls on May 1, on the fire & fertility festival of Beltane, and the midpoint of Spring. To add to the strong energies afoot as the month opens, this full moon is the first of two full moons in May, with the next, the Blue Moon in Sagittarius, falling on May 31. May is sandwiched by these two clarifying lunations calling for release of our deadwood, dark shadows and outlived secrets to make room for a firm reach for the light of freedom, expansion & sovereignty. Scorpio’s rulers affirm this as Mars in Aries & Pluto in Aquarius encourage us to burn away the out of date & deeply buried detritus in our collective consciousness to open the unveiling of a regenerative path to the highest good for all beings, including Mother Earth. Of course, the collective only changes when we each reveal, release and compost our own psyche’s toxic content. Uranus in Gemini is poised to disseminate the good news of our evolutionary leaps & shifts unproductive, habitual perceptions in a flash of direct knowing. Sun in Ta**us anchors the changes, seeks harmony & balance, & focuses us on the fruitful beauty of Love’s radiance in bloom.

This is an emotional Full Moon in the deepest psychic, emotional & transformative sign of Scorpio, and is in harmony (trine aspect) with Jupiter in Cancer, so let the feelings & insights flow, washing away what no longer serves and leaving only a soothing tide of purification, expansion, truth and authenticity. With this exalted Jupiter on our side, growth is nurtured & our best interest is wholly supported. Jupiter reminds us to have Full Faith in the process of our own metamorphosis.

Below I share with you an excerpt from ‘Astrology for Mindful Living;’

“…at this Full Moon in Scorpio, the invitation is to RELEASE the traumas/dramas/patterns/unmet, obsessive desires/unconscious conflicts that take our attention away from connecting with Spirit, which is our true Source of energy and our true home base of operations. This Moon asks you; "What has really got you by the balls"? What disempowers you? What hijacks your vital energies and life force to create from a higher consciousness?

This is the moon of 2026 that really encapsulates the spiritual truth that "the purpose of the dark is to call forth the light". AND again, with Uranus in Gemini, we're seeking to lighten the load. With the Sun in Ta**us we are the "constant gardeners", looking to bring peace, beauty, balance, harmony and more love into our lives.

Scorpio also represents DEATH, so what are you being called to "die" to in order to have new life? Some things you have been hanging onto, that are clearly getting in the way of you living more righteously have got to go, and this is the moon that will make that happen IF you work with it, rather than against it.

Scorpio LOVES to hold onto things, including things that are toxic or unhealthy, so resist the urge to do that. Use the bravery and courage of all those Aries planets to let go of all that you cling to (especially the ways you relate to others that are unhealthy) that no longer aligns with a higher version of yourself, beyond a more fear-based consciousness, stuck in old stories and narratives.

Aries has a packed house right now, and this IS the sign of rebirth. A new way is begging to be seeded, so use that dark matter material - that Scorpionic compost as fertilizer to plant and ultimately grow something NEW and BEAUTIFUL in your life!
Let go of what no longer serves and remember, every ending has a new beginning! “

Blessed Full Moon! Blessed Beltane! Go forth, bloom and bring forth new fruits. Our most abundant harvest is yet to come.

URANUS MOVES INTO GEMINI
April 25, 2026

Although Uranus stuck his big toe into Gemini last July, last night he moved full bodied into that airy sign where he will stay for the next seven years. Uranus is known as ‘The Great Awakener’, rousing us from our complacency & releasing us from the old -- whether concepts, traditions, emotional patterns or physical structures -- to make way for the new. Uranus represents sudden changes through progress, invention & innovation. He is concerned with the future & feels no mercy for the dysfunctional or failed structures of the past. He’s a wrecking ball with the clear purpose of forcing a clean slate.

Astrologers often refer to Uranus as the higher octave of Mercury: he is the Universal Mind while Mercury is the individual mind. Uranus represents then, the Soul of Humanity & its evolutionary, forward leaps. We use words like breakthroughs, break-downs & break-ups to describe his influence. In Gemini, we can definitely expect innovations appearing in 'eureka!' moments of inspiration, major intellectual & perceptual shifts & surprising news across the board. We will see breakthroughs in technology, communication, travel & commerce to name only a few. But we also say of Uranus, ‘expect the unexpected.’ It is a planet as hard to pin down as the Zodiac Sign of Gemini often is, and so this phenomenon explodes the reach for our Freedoms, like freedom of speech. Uranus in Gemini wants us to shed our shackles – of any kind – and write a new, inspired, previously unimagined story for our personal & collective evolution. To get a glimpse of what this Uranian ingress may mean for us personally, we need to check his influence in our birth chart by sign, house & aspects. Maybe we need to change how we talk to ourselves & the others in our personal world. Maybe we are unexpectedly released from a job, relationship, community affiliations, self-image, public image or former purpose, etc. Maybe we finally write that book simmering in the back of our minds...Just be assured that massive change is in motion NOW & it somehow liberates us from whatever mental prison we’ve been locked into. Uranus in Gemini is calling us to pen an alternate script and to distribute it far & wide.

The good news is that Uranus in Gemini (ruled by Mercury) joins the personal mind with the Universal Mind. There is hope in this joining if we are open enough to allow the release of what has truly not served us for too long & the embrace of an unforeseen fork in the road that, if taken, can revitalize our genius & erase our negative karma. Change is upon us whether we want it or not. Let’s try to use the liberating energy of Uranus to build a better world, personally & collectively. Our perception of everything is shifting, lifting, clarifying and we now have the opportunity to discern where we step next. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

WELCOME TO TA**US SEASON

AT 9:39 PM EDT on April 19, the Sun moved into Ta**us, calling us to sink into the beauty all around us. Ta**us is Venus ruled so the incredible array of blossoms ripening in this season invite us to stop and smell the roses, embrace whatever brings us comfort, luxuriate in the delights available through our senses, give thanks for daily, simple pleasures, be present and aligned with our truest values, nurture our resources, and open to our abundant blessings. This is definitely the season to buy the shoes, eat the cake and indulge in some well deserved Self-pampering! 🌞♉️💚🌺🐂🌼🐮

CRYSTALS & GEMS FOR ARIES & ARIES SEASON

Aries, ruled by Mars - planet of action - is a fiery sign most known for its courage, passion and the ability to spring into immediate action when needed. But sometimes Aries acts too quickly, too rashly & upon an impulse that could profit from a discerning second look (says the steadfast, deliberate Ta**us Mars here! lol).

If you need some Aries energy in your life to step up & go for what you want, then Carnelian & Fire Agate will serve well, & Red Jasper as well as Hematite will solidly ground you as you reach for the gold. If you have been burned by your own rash impulses, then certainly some Amethyst or Aquamarine will soothe the charred parts.

There are a couple other crystals that are also helpful in this very BIG, pretty overwhelming Aries energy we are moving through this month!

1. Sardonyx helps us focus the big Aries energy on our goals & not fritter it away on stimuli that only wastes that energy with nothing to show for its output.

2. Rose Quartz, Green Jade or Green Aventurine are pure gifts when trying to integrate the jumbled, impatient Aries mind chatter with the higher, softer impulses & intuitions sent from the heart. These simple heart chakra stones help us cut through the potential Aries overactive mind loops so we can grow, attract abundance & receive the deeper enrichment broadcasting from the wisdom of our hearts. The Aries mind sometimes jumps to conclusions rather quickly from fragmented pieces of information without any discernment, & pushes Aries to act upon these meaningless scraps. The heart takes in the whole truth & helps the Aries energy recalibrate how that big energy is used for the benefit of Self & All.

Feel the Aries flame rise up & call it forth to help motivate you to go for what you want, what you feel passionate about, but remember that the birthstone for Aries is Diamond. Diamonds become diamonds by braving through the intense heat & pressure of their Earth environment over a very, very long time. There is a lot of trial & error & willingness to emerge as our Best Self in that process. Sometimes we need to burn off the unnecessary & allow our passion to press us into the most perfect version of Who We Are with a gentle reminder that "results in time take time to unfold." Crystals can help us get there. Let experience teach us to join our heads with our hearts and our shiniest facets will step forward.

New Moon at 27° Aries
Friday, April 17th at 7:51 am Eastern Time

If there were ever a lunation to consciously set intentions for the future, this one carries real impact, because of where it is forming and who is gathered around it.

This New Moon takes place in the final stretch of Aries, a part of the zodiac that carries a sense of urgency, ripeness, and inevitability. Aries is the sign of beginnings, but at 27°, we are no longer standing at the starting line wondering if we should begin. We are standing at a threshold where something inside of us already knows that it must.

Over the past several days, the Sun has been moving through a conjunction with Chiron, illuminating a pain point, something that may not have been fully seen or acknowledged before. As the Moon now joins the Sun, this New Moon plants a seed directly in that same space. Not because everything has been resolved or perfected, but right there, within the truth of what has been revealed. Eris is also closely involved in this configuration, adding a layer of disruption that refuses to let anything remain hidden or suppressed.

There is a clarity moving through this lunation that reflects the simple reality that something can no longer be ignored. For some, this may feel like a breaking point, while for others, it may feel like relief. Truth has a way of simplifying things, even when it arrives abruptly, because it draws a line where one could not be drawn before.

Deepening this lunation even further is the fact that this late degree of Aries falls within the final decan of the sign, a portion that is ruled by Venus rather than Mars. Venus is currently at home in Ta**us, where she is strong, grounded, and deeply rooted in her own values. This shifts the tone of the lunation in a meaningful way. While the Aries impulse to act is still very present, it is being filtered through a more discerning lens that asks whether what is being initiated is truly aligned, sustainable, and worth the energy it will require over time. This feels like a conscious beginning that carries an awareness of what we are actually choosing to build.

There is also a symbolic correspondence here that echoes this same theme. This portion of Aries is associated with the Four of Wands in the tarot, a card that speaks to stability after initiation, to crossing a threshold, and to establishing something that is solid enough to be recognized and held. When we place that alongside everything else present in the sky, it becomes clear that this New Moon is not simply about starting something new, but about beginning something that has the potential to take root and endure.

Surrounding all of this is a broader concentration of energy in Aries that amplifies the field. Mars, the ruler of Aries, is present, strengthening the call to act. Mercury is here as well, attempting to process, translate, and articulate what is emerging. Saturn adds a layer of responsibility and asks what we are truly prepared to commit to, while Neptune is dissolving old identities even as it begins to seed new ones. This lunation does not stand alone, but exists within a much larger field that is asking each of us, in our own way, who we are becoming and what we are ready to initiate from that place.

If you feel something clarifying or shifting your direction, you are not imagining it. Something has been revealed that you can no longer unknow, and something within you is no longer willing to continue as it has. This New Moon marks a threshold where a decision begins to take shape, not always through words, but through energy, orientation, and the choices that follow.

This New Moon asks for a clear, aligned step in the direction of something that feels true, is right in time, and is worth building over the long term.

Neptune, Saturn, Chiron, Eris, Sun, and Mars are currently all in Aries. Mercury joins them on April 14...Their collective Fire burns bright for new beginnings, raw courage, bold moves and impassioned action. Astrologer Penni Shelton writes, "If something feels genuinely aligned, you’ll notice that it holds a steady feeling in your body, even if it’s new. If something feels urgent but unclear, give yourself just enough space to check it before acting." When Mercury joins in the conflagration, our words are honest & direct but may be quite inflammatory!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥When Uranus moves into Gemini on April 25, it only feeds what fire remains with unexpected shifts, sudden maneuvers and artificial intelligence in the news...This is an April & an Aries Season to remember.

Aries & its Season aren't known for patience. It is ready to go, go, go in an instant. Sometimes it's a better idea to release what's impeding our forward momentum first, to clear our path, move in one direction at a time, and honor when we need to rest. Balance is required to succeed in the action's leading role as seen in Aries' opposite sign, Libra. Let's keep our feet on the ground, speak to issues before they explode, and take breaks to sustain the very fiery energy flaming through the body, mind, & heart. In Aries Season we need to inspire & not expire! 🌞♎️

FULL MOON IN 12 degrees Libra 21'
April 1, 2026 at 10:12 PM

Any Full Moon in Libra spotlights our relationships: with ourselves, with our loved ones, with business partners et al. These relationships hold up a mirror that reflects all that is true and all that's been hidden. Libra calls us back to balance when we've veered off course or become too projective or repressed. Libra is represented in the Tarot's Major Arcana Justice card. The scales of justice are clearly represented there but Lady Libra also holds a sword that can cut away and release all that weighs us down and away from equilibrium. It's time to clear the dead debris in our gardens so the new sprouting flowers may grow, unimpeded, into beautiful , new blooms.
*****************************************************
Here's a lovely interpretation by Astrologer Penni Shelton:

The Full Moon in Libra arrives on April 1st at 10:11 pm Eastern Time. While Libra is often spoken about as the sign of peace & harmony, this one tells a more honest story. Because not all peace is real peace. Some of it is maintained, or performed, and some of it comes at the cost of your own truth. This Full Moon is illuminating exactly where that’s been happening.

Libra is ruled by Venus, but in the tarot, Libra corresponds with the Justice card - and Justice doesn’t just hold a scale, she holds a sword. We love to talk about balance, but we rarely talk about the blade. This Full Moon falls in the second decan of Libra, associated with the Three of Swords, a card that is often misunderstood. At first glance it looks like heartbreak, grief, devastation - but sit with it a little longer & something shifts. The swords are not entering the heart, they are being pulled out. What has been held in, endured quietly, or suppressed in order to keep the peace is ready to be released. And that release may not feel gentle.

This lunation forms an axis opposition to Chiron in Aries, bringing this into deeply personal territory. This is about identity, autonomy & the parts of you that learned that being fully yourself might cost you connection. Old wounds around feeling misunderstood, unseen, or unappreciated may rise, but not to punish you. They are showing you where balance has come at too high a price.
At the same time, there is a strong Aries presence in the sky, with the Sun, Chiron, Saturn& Neptune all emphasizing the self. Saturn asks for maturity & responsibility, Neptune dissolves illusion, & Chiron opens the space for healing. Libra holds up the mirror, reflecting how your personal evolution is directly impacting your relationships.

This Full Moon also forms a square to Jupiter in Cancer, amplifying emotions, nostalgia, and the desire for comfort & belonging. You may feel the tension between caring for others & finally tending to yourself, between maintaining the emotional structures you’ve always upheld & questioning whether they truly support you.
But there is support here. A loose trine to Pluto in Aquarius opens the door for real transformation - deep, honest shifts in how you show up in your relationships & what you are no longer willing to carry. This is where truth emerges, conversations deepen & patterns begin to break.

With Venus, ruler of this Full Moon, at home in Ta**us, there is grounding available. This isn’t about blowing everything up - it’s about rooting into your values, your body & your sense of worth. The clarity that comes now isn’t reactive, it’s steady. It’s the kind of knowing that allows you to tell the truth without losing yourself.
This Full Moon may reveal where you’ve been over-accommodating, where you’ve silenced yourself & where “balance” has actually meant self-abandonment. And it asks you to recognize that peace built on your own suppression was never sustainable.

So let me ask you this…
Where have you been holding the scale, when what was actually needed was the courage to use the sword?
