More than just therapeutic riding

Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, INC. is a 501(c) 3 therapeutic riding facility formed on January 9 2019 for the purpose of using horses and other farm animals as a therapeutic medium to promote health, wellness, physical, emotional and behavioral therapy to participants and to raise awareness of the therapeutic benefits of riding lessons. Providing therapeutic lessons

Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, INC. will be conducting the following activities: Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, LLC uses horses in “mounted” (riding) and “unmounted” (ground) activities to serve individuals of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds who seek therapy for a number of reasons, including but not limited to: physical therapy, emotional therapy, depression or bipolar disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, stress and anxiety disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavior and conduct disorders, and general health and wellness. Activities are conducted year-round by a certified PATH, Intl. certified instructor. All instructors and volunteers will abide by the values of Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, LLC by conducting therapy in a safe and kind manner, tailoring each lesson to the needs of the participant based on their diagnosis, past performance, and future goals.

Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, INC is in the process of developing policies, procedures, and curriculum with the goal to begin offering formal session based services in the Fall of 2020. Lessons, activities, and curriculums will be tailored to the needs of the participant, including both riding activities and unmounted, ground activities. Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, INC will target individuals seeking proven therapy alternatives to drugs/medications, therapists, counselors, psychologists, or doctors and individuals who wish to fulfill general health and wellness in a fun, new way. Programs and lessons will include (depending on diagnosis and need of participant):
