Our breastfeeding classes are held monthly across our WIC sites and cover a variety of important topics tailored to the needs and interests of our clients. Topics may include breastfeeding basics, latching techniques, milk supply, pumping and storing breast milk, nutrition for breastfeeding moms, returning to work or school, and infant feeding support.
These classes are designed to provide education, encouragement, and a supportive environment for pregnant and postpartum families. Whether you are preparing for your baby’s arrival or already breastfeeding, our team is here to support you every step of the way.
We encourage all families to join us, ask questions, connect with other parents, and take advantage of these free educational opportunities available through our WIC program. Contact your local site for the monthly schedule and upcoming class topics. 🤱💕

Summer flavors, but make it nourishing 🌿☀️
Think hydration, fiber, and natural sweetness working together this season. Blend refreshing smoothies that support digestion and skin health, toss together colorful bowls packed with antioxidants, or build light meals that keep you energized without feeling heavy.
Grill for extra depth without losing nutrients, snack on fresh combinations that balance natural sugars with protein, and lean into water-rich foods to stay cool and hydrated as temperatures rise.
Eating with the season isn’t just about taste—it’s about giving your body exactly what it needs right now 💚
What’s your go-to way to feel nourished in the summer? ✨

Breastfeeding isn’t just nourishment — it’s connection, comfort, and healing 🤍
In those first moments after delivery, your baby already knows you. Skin-to-skin contact and early feeding help regulate their temperature, heartbeat, and breathing while strengthening your bond.
✨ Benefits of breastfeeding:
• Provides the perfect nutrition tailored to your baby
• Boosts immunity and protects against infections
• Supports healthy growth and brain development
• Helps your body recover after birth
• Encourages emotional bonding and security
Finding the right position can make all the difference — take your time, follow your baby’s cues, and don’t be afraid to adjust until it feels right for both of you 🤱
Every journey is unique, and every drop counts # 💛 PostpartumCare BreastfeedingSupport

The nutrition pyramid has changed — and so should our plates.
It now focuses on everyday habits that support long-term health, not quick fixes.
🌱 More plants — fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains form the foundation
🐟 Quality proteins — fish, eggs, lean meats, and plant-based sources
🫒 Healthy fats — olive oil, nuts, seeds, and avocados
🍬 Less ultra-processed foods — keep sweets and refined foods occasional, not daily
Small choices build strong foundations. What we eat most often matters more than what we eat sometimes.
It’s not about restriction — it’s about balance, consistency, and sustainability.
Build your health from the bottom up.
