GBTQ+ CHRISTIAN MEN DISCUSSION GROUP on ZOOM
SUNDAYS @ 6 pm to 7 pm, Eastern Time
This Group is welcoming to ALL Gay, Bisexual, Tran, Queer, and Questioning Men. This group is welcoming to Single and Married Men, whether their spouses are male or female. This group is Intergenerational, welcoming all men 18+. This group is welcoming to Men regardless of Race, Ethnicity, Immigrant-Status, Political Party, Disability, or Economic Class. We may be completely ‘out’, or deep in ‘the closet,’ or somewhere on this journey. We may be city-dwellers, suburbanites, country folk, or live a solitary, isolated life in the middle of nowhere. This group is welcoming to Men of All Religions, Faiths, Spiritualities, Denominations, and Worship Expression… while recognizing we are centered in the love of Jesus and of God: our Higher Power, Sacred Mystery, or any other name one chooses to use. We are welcoming of men who are strong in their faith, weak in their faith, questioning of their faith… or have left their faith at some point in their lives. We are men who love ‘The Church’, have been hurt by ‘The Church’, hate ‘The Church’… or are ambivalent about the role of ‘The Church’ in our present lives. We are welcoming of men who are Introverts or Extroverts. In our time together we’ll follow the Golden Rule: “In everything do to others as you would have them do to you,” as well as “love your neighbor as yourself”. We aim to be a place of support, learning, camaraderie, prayer and celebration. Hopefully each of us will feel less isolated… and have a good laugh or two… and leave each online meeting feeling better than when we first arrived.
