Why is having a community a strength?

In nature, we are relational beings. When we’re isolated or detached from a community, our health and especially our mental health can quickly take a toll. Life is hard enough on its own. We’re not meant to walk through it alone.
I know many of you think that you're alone. You may also think you can't rely on anyone to be part of your community. All it take is one other person, or a group of strangers bonding over the same topics.
Your community is out there, you just have to do the work to find it.
Do something different today. Have a conversation with a someone that you see everyday but don't speak to. Give a stranger a compliment, buy someone a meal, listen to someones story without interruption. Show someone a little compassion and humanity. It will only help strengthen yourself.
