Hey there friends and yoga students, teachers and please consider attending this workshop this weekend May 20 & 21 at in and . The .cata, director of and of will offer movement classes based in and Patti will offer writing sessions working with memory and recounting experiences with orthopedic and other medical care or any experiences you wish to write about.

For teachers participation opens a window for you to see and understand what your fused students with scoliosis feel, need and what might inhibit them from movement and finding their full range of motion.

I have attended this workshop and related fusions workshops with Martha for the past 7 years or so and every year I gain more insight for my fused students and how their needs differ from other students with scoliosis. In addition working with Patti's prompts, observations and suggestions had produced some great writing!!

This workshop is appropriate for all levels and movement abilities including brand new beginners and those who use assistive devices for mobility. All poses and movements can be modified for your ability.

Did you know is back at ? I've brought back the popular pre-pandemic monthly class both in-person and online. and learn to see your students with scoliosis better by identifying all their patterns head to toe and address their needs with proper verbal and hands on instructions and prop set-ups!

with :. Get personalized attention in a helpful and friendly environment where you can really learn and understand your curve pattern and movement tendencies .

This Wednesday's online class will address the sagittal curve patterns. It's essential to be able to understand how these deviate from neutral spine before addressing the lateral curves and rotation.

There is still some space in person or online!! Whether you're a teacher or a person with back pain or someone in between, tomorrow's workshop is for you!! Yoga therapists can get IAYT APD CE credits. The morning is practice and principles for acute back issues. The afternoon covers asana and principles for chronic back issues. I hope to see you there !!
