Pelvis NYC The Go-To-Center for Orthopedics & Male Pelvic Floor Therapy in New York City

At PELVIS NYC, we take an individualistic approach to treating pelvic floor dysfunction in men. The main goal for treating pelvic floor dysfunction is to relax the muscles and provide minimally invasive treatment using manual physical therapy, technology and exercises to regain your pelvic health. Pelvis NYC is also created as a platform where men can share their experiences without any judgment.

Stop feeling broken. đźš«

That constant, intrusive feeling of arousal without desire has a name: PGAD.

It’s a rare, misunderstood symptom of pelvic floor dysfunction. Your muscles are chronically tight, tricking your brain into feeling “activated” 24/7.

You aren’t a mystery. You just need the right PT.

Most men will ignore a literal broken arm, but the second something feels off down there, everything changes.

If you’ve been told to “just relax” but your symptoms aren’t budging, this video is for you. Pelvic floor dysfunction isn’t just about “function” , it’s about your quality of life, your future, and your peace of mind.

You aren’t crazy. You aren’t alone. 🤝

Healing in pelvic health is not defined by the absence of symptoms, especially early in therapy.
Progress is evaluated through changes in symptom intensity, frequency, and duration.
When symptoms fluctuate, reduced severity or shorter episodes still reflect meaningful improvement in recovery.

The Kegel Lie! Think Kegels fix ED or premature ej*******on? Most guys are told to do more Kegels. For a lot of you, that’s the worst advice possible. If your pelvic floor is already too tight, more Kegels can actually trigger the issues you’re trying to fix.

đź’ˇ Real pelvic health = proper tension + strength.

Most pelvic floor work isn’t really about the muscle… it’s about the brain’s response to what’s happening.

A lot of clinicians get stuck in theory; the “clock method,” vague pressure points, random releases and struggle to translate that into real change.

If the brain feels unsafe or confused, the pelvic floor won’t budge.
If the brain feels clear and supported, tone drops.

In this video, I’m showing how simple soft-tissue work in hooklying can create immediate shifts when you target the nervous system, not just the anatomy.

This is the difference between:
aimless poking & intentional input that actually changes symptoms.

Pelvic rehab should be specific, informed, and effective.

If you're in the middle of a PGAD flare-up, I know how intense and exhausting it can feel. Sometimes, just getting a moment of relief makes all the difference. Cold therapy — like gently placing a wrapped ice pack on the area — can help calm nerve endings and reduce the overwhelming sensations. Some people also find relief using topical anesthetics like lidocaine to numb the area for a little while.

These aren’t long-term fixes, but in tough moments, they can help you breathe again. Please be gentle with yourself, and check in with a trusted healthcare provider before trying anything new.
