Meet Alyssa! 🎶 She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to Filipino parents and has been a registered nurse for almost four years now. Nursing comes to her naturally, as both of her parents are nurses. Her dad, an operating room nurse, has been the biggest inspiration in her career.

She has worked in several different surgical specialties, but working with Dr. Hanna in face, jaw, and oral/maxillofacial surgery is definitely her favorite so far. Her role in the office revolves around patient care and safety. Some of her responsibilities include assessing patients to ensure they are ready for surgery, circulating and assisting during surgery, and recovering patients to ensure a safe and comfortable discharge. It is always a fun experience for her to meet patients in their first consultations and witness their transformations to become their best selves.

In her free time, she enjoys globe-trotting adventures and music festivals, with SZA and Afrojack topping the list as her favorite music artists 🪩

Our patients love having her by their side, and so do we!

Meet Lis 🍎 a true New Yorker, who lights up our reception area with her positive spirit and million-dollar smile! She was born and raised in NYC to Mexican parents and speaks both English and Spanish. Certified in Medical Billing and Coding and Administrative Medical Assistance, Lisbeth's experience in the medical field spans seven years.

Beyond work, she's a wanderlust, always seeking new horizons. 🌍 She enjoys music, dancing, and the simple things like strolling through the park with a latte in hand.

But what truly lights up Lisbeth's day is her role on Dr. Hanna's team. Crafting a warm, enjoyable patient experience from the very first step through the door is her favorite part of her job. She is truly a gift to the practice! 🌟

Facial aesthetic surgery requires a complete understanding of an individual’s hard and soft tissue anatomy. This means understanding what the facial skeleton looks like as well as the overlying skin and soft tissues.

We use the highest quality 3-D imaging system and software for assessment of the entire head, neck, and face structures. This allows us to assess, plan, and execute treatment at the most advanced and precise level.

Meet Emi ✨ our Practice Coordinator.

From a childhood interest in surgery to a vital role in our practice, Emi embodies diligence and passion. She started as a surgical assistant at 19, grew to manage clinical teams, and now oversees both administrative and clinical teams.

Since 2018, she's been what Dr. Hanna calls his "right hand." Her hands-on experience in every role of patient care helps her to make decisions that prioritize the well-being of both the patients and the team.

Emi loves putting patients at ease, using her expertise to help them navigate their care with confidence. When she's not at the office, she's also an outdoor enthusiast, an artist, and a musician. We're lucky to have her! 💫

Before and 6 weeks after ✨ Extended deep plane face and neck lift, genioplasty, and blepharoplasty.

Dr. Hanna used a modified incision design, which he developed, in the vertical side burn area and in front of the ear to achieve these natural looking results. He recently described this technique in a book chapter which will be published soon.

Last week Dr. Hanna had the privilege to be back at Parkland OMFS to give grand rounds on orthognathic & facial aesthetic surgery and share what he's been developing at our practice and at Mount Sinai OMFS. Parkland is among the most historically revered OMFS training programs in our specialty.
