The Gold Center is back on Facebook — and what better way to reintroduce ourselves than with puppy yoga! 🐾🧘‍♀️

Last week, our team of psychiatrists, therapists, and staff took a break from our usual routines to reconnect, recharge, and share a little joy. Working in mental health means holding a lot for others — so it’s vital that we also support each other. This team-buildingactivity reminded us just how powerful connection and play can be.

Thank you to CNN This Morning for your thoughtful coverage of DJ Stephen tWitch Boss’s su***de. It is an opportunity to discuss the hidden epidemic of mental health where people are struggling in plain sight. My take home message for the holidays (that we did not get to on air) is:
• Holidays increase expectations and disappointment.
• So, manage your expectations.
• Take care of yourself.
• Reach out to friends and family who may be struggling.
• Don’t forget to ask about depression and su***de. If you don’t ask, then you can’t help.
• Call or text 988 if you are thinking about su***de. There is help out there.
