Sirsasana, the headstand or head balance pose. Working with a bench that keeps her head off the floor. This way, we can straighten out her alignment before putting any weight on her head. In the last photo she does it without the bench and the weight is on her head. Notice she’s straighter in the last photo.
She usually does Pilates with me but today she asked if we could learn the headstand. It’s great when students are focused, determined and enthusiastic. This girl is always on her game. Comes to learn, comes to practice and comes to make her dreams come true!!!!! The youth are definitely the future and the future is bright.
