More than 200 people came out to support CP Unlimited on June 18 for Support, Equip, Empower: A CPU Fundraiser and enhance our mission to help people with disabilities achieve fulfilling lives on Staten Island and beyond.
Held at The Old Bermuda Inn and honoring Dr. Matthew Kaufman, Assembly Member Sam Pirozzolo, and Dr. Cori Regan, this first-ever benefit event was an opportunity to highlight the work of change-makers in the Staten Island community and the impact of CP Unlimited while raising funds for the inspirational M.O.V.E. program at CPU’s Cora Hoffman Center. M.O.V.E. helps people with disabilities take their first steps and deepen their mobility and independence through specialized training and equipment.
