You or your spouse may have experienced getting into a series of arguments when triggered by these. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

As a way to reconnect, starting an argument or becoming overly-emotional are ways that may have been absolutely familiar in your dynamics.

An extra amount of patience should be included in your marriage toolbox if you want to maintain a healthy marriage.

And if you are married to your spouse who has anxious attachment, try these ways to help you become a better partner for them:

๐Ÿค Genuinely understand them by doing research about the concept of attachments and your spouse's attachment style.

๐Ÿค Let them know how you feel...always. You may believe that you're already showing them your love and appreciation, unfortunately there are times they may not pick them quickly, finally...

๐Ÿค Follow through with your promises especially when you've already expressed something as a commitment to your spouse, they have difficulties in trusting, and knowing that they can rely with your words builds up that trust to themselves and even other people.

If you have further queries about attachment styles and maintaining a secure functioning relationship, you can always reach out to us by clicking the link in our bio. ๐Ÿ’—

When you're feeling anxious, you may have had negative thoughts and emotions that don't make sense.

You may feel alone, like no one understands what you're going through.

But we want you to remember: your mind is the most powerful tool you have for effecting positive change in your lifeโ€”and it can also be one of the most destructive.

It's important to remember that our minds are not infallible; they are subject to all kinds of biases and errors. And when those errors combine with anxiety, they can create a dangerous spiral that makes us feel even more isolated and scared than before.

That's why it's important to remember this: Jesus loves you, he understands what you're going through, and he wants you to seek guidance from those who can help you on your path to recovery. ๐Ÿค

Anxiety is a complex experience that often involves a profound connection between our minds and bodies. ๐Ÿง

This intricate relationship creates a feedback loop, intensifying the experience of anxiety.

However, recognizing this profound mind-body connection is crucial when dealing with anxiety.ย

By addressing both aspects holistically, we can unlock highly effective approaches to manage and alleviate anxiety symptoms.

Techniques such as deep breathing and affirmations can be powerful tools in calming both the mind and body. ๐Ÿƒ

In addition to self-help techniques, seeking professional support can make a significant difference.ย

Christian counseling offers valuable guidance and specialized tools to transform anxiety, helping us find solace and regain a sense of equilibrium in the mind-body connection.

Remember, you don't have to face anxiety alone. ๐Ÿค

Take that courageous first step towards healing, and embrace the support you truly deserve.

As you learn to become a student of your own attachment style, needs, wants and fears, you'll be able to focus on meeting those needs and asking your partner to care for you in specific ways.

Know that your partner is there to compliment you, not complete you and vice versa.

Recognizing your attachment style and your unmet needs, can shed light on your inner child, younger parts and where/when they need specific needs, care and attention. ๐Ÿ’—

One of the most crucial, yet least discussed, aspects of marital health is spiritual intimacy.

Research has shown the importance of having a spiritual bond.

Now, we'll talk about how you and your spouse can deepen your spiritual intimacy.

๐Ÿ’— Spend time together in prayer
Not all couples will commit to the same routines. It is essential to find a way to spend this spiritual time together to grow closer spiritually. Finding common ground will go a long way toward enhancing your spiritual intimacy. Make sure your routine is flexible enough to accommodate your changing demands and schedules.

๐Ÿ’— Acknowledge that everyone grows in different ways
Although two people may have a strong commitment, they may have different experiences and preferences. You may agree to do different solo activities to grow spiritually. Maybe your partner can opt to spend time alone with God journaling and praying. And you on the other hand can explore time alone with God in nature. Learning to accept and honor your differences and give each other the space to grow spiritually will foster deeper spiritual intimacy.ย

๐Ÿ’— Look for marriage mentors or a group
Your spiritual intimacy can be developed by socializing with other couples. When you offer your heart and spiritual convictions with your partner while in the presence of other couples, this can foster spiritual intimacy.

A small group of married couples that get together to talk about marital issues can offer so much support and encouragement.

It's crucial to note that--

Intimacy and being sensual aren't always synonymous.

Although it is one of the component, however it goes beyond being physically or sexually intimate.

Intimacy is the ability to get close, share honestly with your partner and which involves allowing your partner to know you in deep ways. ๐Ÿ’“

The concept of "Intimacy" in Marriage is primarily about having a close relationship with your spouse.

Let us share to you further why Intimacy is important in Marriage:

๐Ÿ’“ Intimacy brings both of you a sense of confidence and security.
๐Ÿ’“Intimacy reassures you of your importance to your spouse.
๐Ÿ’“Intimacy enables you to openly exchange ideas regardless of how differently you two view things.
๐Ÿ’“Intimacy fosters deeper connection between you and your spouse and lastly
๐Ÿ’“Intimacy enables you to share a part of your inner self and your spiritual values to your loved one, which cultivates an enduring bond.

Now that you know how vital it is in your marriage --

We are excited to share something we are preparing for married couples, like you and your spouse.

This "free offering" could be a huge help for both of you to assess the health of your marriage. ๐Ÿค

The aftermath of trauma often leaves us feeling disconnected, with our trust in ourselves and others severely compromised.

However, when trauma-approach therapy is skillfully implemented, a remarkable transformation begins to unfold.

Trauma-informed therapy creates a safe and supportive environment where you can explore the depths of your trauma without fear of judgment.

As the healing process unfolds, the impact of trauma gradually diminishes.

๐Ÿค Self-respect begins to blossom, as you rediscover your inherent worth and embrace your resilience.

๐Ÿค Positive feelings, once overshadowed, reemerge, allowing you to experience joy, love, and inner peace.

๐Ÿค Healthy attachments to people are fostered, rebuilding the trust that was shattered by past traumas.

We understand the importance of addressing the effects of trauma and its impact on your sense of self and relationships.

Our approach to therapy is focused on helping you better understand yourself and your needs, while providing you with the tools and support needed to navigate the challenges of trauma.

Together, we will work towards creating a healthier and more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others. ๐Ÿค
