In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Breast Health Clinic hosted an informational tabling event to raise awareness and share valuable resources with our patients and staff.

These events will continue every Wednesday throughout October, offering education on prevention, early detection, and screening options. Together, we’re spreading awareness and supporting our community in the fight against breast cancer.

Metropolitan celebrated Hispanic Heritage month with Café con Leche! Our community gathered for an intimate conversation with some of the most recognizable leaders of El Barrio. We are grateful for Deputy Speaker Diana Ayala, incoming City Council Member Elsie Encarnacion, our very own Dr. Flavia Soto, Chairman of our Community Advisory Board James Ratti, and Actor and Filmmaker Mark Reign for sharing their stories – a reflection of the richness and diversity of Hispanic culture and heritage.

Metropolitan is proud to serve this historically Hispanic community, and we stand side by side with them in celebration.

Special thank you to NYS Senator Cordell Cleare for her support.
