March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month 💙

At Community Resources Staten Island, we proudly celebrate inclusion and the countless contributions people with developmental disabilities make to communities across New York State each and every day.

In kicking off this year’s observance, Willow Baer shared that Disability Pride honors “people that dare to be themselves and to be proud of it, because New York is a state that welcomes everyone.”

We couldn’t agree more.
This month — and always — we celebrate individuality, amplify voices, and continue building a community where everyone belongs. 💙✨

Stephanie toured our space and shared her powerful story of perseverance, determination, and heart. Despite the challenges her disability has presented, she continues to follow her dreams and give back in such a meaningful way to the Staten Island community. 💜
