One year later โ€” relapse.
During pregnancy, the patient couldnโ€™t wear removable retainers, and no fixed retainer was placed.

Takeaway: combined retention (fixed + night) helps ensure long-term stability.

Teenage case:
โ€ข Canine out of the arch
โ€ข No space
โ€ข IPR not an option
โ€ข Plan: distalization
