Impact Report 2025: Unpacked.
For SURI 2.0, we took the opportunity to rethink our internal packaging.
The original 1.0 tray used a fibre-based composite, combining paper with resins that make recycling more difficult. This time we moved to a simpler material, moulded pulp made from sugarcane fibre, a renewable by-product of sugar production that would otherwise go to waste.
It is a small but significant change. Switching to a waste material and simplifying what we put into the system, to make it easier for recycling at the end.
