There have been a lot of new followers here lately, so I thought International Women’s Day would be a great opportunity to reintroduce myself, and the WHY behind the work I do.

🌳I’m Dr. Somer DelSignore, a pediatric board-certified integrative provider and the founder of Hudson Valley Integrative Health. This practice was built for families who know something isn’t right and are searching for answers that go deeper than quick fixes or symptom labels.

Much of my work centers on children with complex, neuroinflammatory and infection-driven conditions surrounding tickborne diseases, PANS, Autism and congenital vector-borne disease. I do this for the kids who are often misunderstood, and parents who are doing everything they can to advocate for them. I believe healing starts with listening, with curiosity, and with treating the whole child, not just isolated symptoms.

💪Today is a reminder of the strength of women, especially mothers, who trust their instincts, ask hard questions, and keep showing up for their children even when the path isn’t clear. It’s an honor to walk alongside families on that journey and help them find clarity, hope, and healing.

1986….
1986 was the first publication by MacDonald and others identifying case reports of Borrelia in as early as the first trimester of pregnancy. Identifying Borrelia spirochetes in brain tissue and liver.
Case studies following showed Borrelia spirochetes in all organ systems, cord blood, placenta.
All women should be tested before family planning and know that treatment does exist to reduce exposure to your unborn baby.
