When do you need a Special Education Advocate?

1) Your child is not doing well in school and you think it may be due to more than effort in class and on homework.

2) Your pediatrician has recommended your child to go for educational testing.

3) The teachers are concerned your child may not pass and is not understanding the material.

4) Your child has an IEP and it hasn't been renewed nor have you been contacted for a meeting in over a year.

5) Your child has and IEP and their skills have improved incredibly and may not need one.

6) You have a teen that is ready for college and don't want them to lose their testing accommodations.

7) You are an adult that had an IEP in school and now are returning to the education setting and want to do your best.

8)Your child's school is not following anything on the IEP or not providing services as required.

9) You don't want to pay thousands on evaluations and lawyers and need someone to support you through the process.

10)Your child was diagnosed with a learning disability and you don't understand what it means for their future or what to do next.

Our Special Education Advocates are parents AND professionals who have worked with students with disabilities and know how it feels to go through the process first hand. Whether it's a simple question about Special Education or you want someone to walk you to the process from the request to the Impartial Hearing, we are here for you.
