Our liver helps break poisonous substances in our blood like drugs and alcohol. It also produces a fluid called bile that greatly helps in digesting our food and carrying away our waste. Too much alcohol, or drugs, can cause the liver to work double or triple time. And when it does this often enough, you'll be faced with liver-related diseases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, or even liver cancer!

Our kidneys are a pair of organs on either side of our spine above the pelvis. They function as a filter for our blood. Our blood, in the process of circulating throughout our body, can encounter waste and lose electrolytes along the way.

The kidneys serve to remove those waste and keep the right electrolyte levels.

Our heart is a muscle that pumps out blood freshly infused with oxygen. This is a constant cycle and without that pumping, our blood would eventually run out of oxygen and will cease to function, killing us in mere seconds. You can imagine how important it is! Not taking care of this vital organ (through exercise) can cause heart attacks, arrythmia, and in the most severe cases, total heart failure.

Our brain is a large, complex organ that controls everything we do. To our temperature, our breathing, our actions, our sensations. You could say that we ARE our brain trapped in a meat sack.

Now it is important that we take care of our brains. Give it the proper exercise (like solving problems) and proper rest (sleeping). Not getting enough sleep can cause the brain to malfunction. The worst of which is it getting an aneurysm! Yikes!
