One of the greatest challenges an empath faces is to create firm and self-loving boundaries–personally and professionally. And don't be a water sign! That's a double-whammy!

All kidding aside, there's so much power in acknowledging the challenging situations for what they are, rather than what they appear to be on the surface.

All challenges are inner-alignment opportunities that are meant for you to reclaim your power, not abdicate it to unpleasant or toxic circumstances. Abdicating your peace of mind creates a ripple effect of unhealthy action and/or chronic inaction that take a toll in every area of your life.

Caregiving my mother and learning-disabled brother has been a powerful initiation into embodying this understanding. Healing from a violent and dysfunctional childhood is a conscious decision that brings inner peace when you view it from an expanded perspective.

There's more to life than meets the eye. That's the core lesson I learned when I spontaneously left my body for 3 hours in 2009. And the "more" included feeling the most divine Love coursing through me.

Yet and still, I had a ways to go in applying that understanding consistently to my immediate family. Clearly, HAVING a miraculous experience and EMBODYING it are two different things.

I now appreciate even more the download I received to create the 5 Pillars of Radical Self-Care model: Self-awareness, Self-forgiveness, Self-compassion, Self-worth and Self-love. I'm working it as it’s working me! 🤣🤣🤣

The truth is that challenges are all good when we shift our gaze inward.

Be the light—but make sure you’re in the right tunnel!

Sometimes we’re so focused on shining for others that we don’t realize we’re lighting a path that doesn’t serve our soul.

You can be radiant, kind, strong, and full of purpose—and still need to redirect your light toward a tunnel that leads to your healing and your becoming.

Being the light doesn’t mean staying stuck. It means knowing when it’s time to pick up your light and move forward in a direction aligned with your truth.

You’re not failing if you leave a tunnel that was never yours. You’re growing.

The end of an old story is the beginning of a new one.

And here’s the truth—your life is where it’s at because of the choices you’ve made.

That’s not blame. That’s power. Because if your past choices wrote one story . . . your present choices can write a better one.

You don’t have to keep rereading the same old chapter out of guilt, fear, or habit. You can turn the page. You can choose differently. You can begin again.

Have you ever thought about it ❤️
When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna' do then? This is a really good post that can't be shared often enough:
1.
Take a 2-minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.
2.
You are really tired and frustrated.
All of a sudden, your chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.
3.
Unfortunately, you don't know if you can make it.
4.
Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.
5.
How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.
6.
But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.
7.
Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment.
8.
Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.
9.
FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.
